I’m an all or nothing person. I’m either all in, 100% or I’m not.
My go for it type of personality is great to many things but it’s also led me to many years of yo-yo dieting. I’d start on a new program or diet and follow it for a few weeks—–then crash and burn.
I didn’t know if the JennyCraig program would just be more of the same but I wanted to try. In May I realized I was at my all time heaviest—-except for being pregnant—-and I knew I had to do something.
One of the reasons I think I’m able to stick with this program is because it’s about SMALL, CONSISTENT changes. Not all or nothing. An example of one of the small changes I’ve made via JennyCraig:
Soupitizers
As part of the program, JennyCraig has small soup portions before every dinner. They call the pre-dinner soups SOUPITIZERS. Eating just a small bowl of soup before dinner fills me up more—-so I’m not so crazy hungry at dinnertime! The evening and night hours of the day are the time periods where I get hungry or tend to throw all my good eating habits out the window.
Soupitizers. Who knew a little cup of soup could make such a big difference?
