The Gods of Good Taste did not strike me down for my Halloween posts about the Tampons of Terror! I took this as a sign that tampon crafts are going mainstream.
It is with a happy and festive heart that I offer you The Tampon Turkey Thanksgiving Centerpiece. My friend and super star blogger Nina over at The Slack Daily is having Thanksgiving at her house this year, so I wanted to give her some WT ideas to make a tasteful and classy table!
You might ask how to create a Tampon Turkey Centerpiece? See the list of materials for this festive tampon holiday turkey below and then go to Tampon Crafts for the step-by-step instructions!
Materials
- Tampax regular tampons (about 70)
- Newspaper
- Masking tape
- Spray paint (brown and silver or gray)
- Acrylic paints (red, yellow, orange)
- Cardboard
- Scissors
- Hot glue gun
- Wiggly eyes

LMAO this is so much fun, I wish I had found this post before thanksgiving. Though, I’m sure my mother in law would have been flabbergasted if I presented this to her on turkey day -lol- definitely would have been a Kodak moment.
OMG. YOU are too much.
That is funny! You have inspired me. My brother will be the recipient of the best gag gift in the history of our family.
That is classic lmao!
i’d be interested to see some maxi pad art as well. I posted one on my site lol
OH
MY
GOD.
THAT IS HILARIOUS.
This would make a great menopause announcement. “Attention all guests. Now that I no longer need these, I thought I’d get creative.”
Always remember to wash your hands after handling poultry!
Move over Foster Farms, there’s a new breast in town!
this is hilarious
my bff in school and I used to make tampon mice when we were little! This is WAY better
if i use super plus will it be a plumper turkey?
make this while wearing your maxi pad slippers. http://icouldcrybutidonthavetime.wordpress.com/2008/11/19/first-there-were-tampon-crafts/
A box of 70… man, that’s expensive, girl!
You put Martha Stewart to shame!
Oh my. That is one expensive turkey.
I find that turkey highly amusing!!
So tell me, do you REALLY tell your dinner guests what it’s made out of?
I’d love to see the look on their faces.
That is just wrong. I’d use my daughter’s Beanie Baby turkey as a centerpiece before creating one of those to put on my dining room table.
Oh my.
Just, oh my.
I CANNOT RESIST THE WIGGLY EYES.
