This is a story that is very trashy…and it’s not even from the United States.
British retailer Tesco, tried to pass off the $100 Peekaboo Pole Dancing Kit - which includes an
8.5-foot chrome pole, a "sexy dance garter," and play money for
stuffing into said garter - in the Toys & Games section of its
website!
After complaints from parents, the company decides to market the product as a "fitness accessory" but agrees to move it from the toy and game section. Now THAT is trashy!

Bad Idea of the Week: “Sexy” Lolita Bed for Little Girls
Woolworth’s stores in the UK have stopped selling a bedroom set called the Lolita Midsleeper Combi. The Lolita was designed for little girls. It seems that no one in their marketing department had thought it was a bad idea to
omg. And you know, Tesco is going to start opening stores in California soon…
No doubt about it, the world is coming to an end.
Now that’s just nasty.
What marketing genium thinks that this toy is necessary in every little girl’s life?
OMFG. And I thought the cheerleader doll that I *swear* was saying “Chug! Chug! Chug!” was bad!! (I’m not kidding…a couple of years ago on KB Toys.com)
what new garbage will they think up next to market? I’m …ooh…!
Speechless.
